Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma works in conjunction with the following organizations to help fulfill our mission to provide affordable and safe housing. These organizations certified NHSOKLA as a credible housing agency and together we build stronger communities.

NeighborWorks America

Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma is a Chartered Member of NeighborWorks America. NeighborWorks America helps build strong, resilient communities by providing people with opportunities to live in safe, healthy and affordable housing, whether they own or rent. The NeighborWorks America national network is comprised of more than 240 nonprofit organizations and more than 12,000 professionals in the affordable housing and community development field.

United States Department of Housing and Urban Development

The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development has designated NHSOKLA as a certified housing agency. This status enables the organization to provide down payment assistance to homeowners through the City of Oklahoma City; to offer mortgage default counseling; and to purchase HUD homes at a discounted rate.

The City of Oklahoma City

Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma is a Certified Community Housing Development Organization (CCHDO) with the City of Oklahoma City. This designation allows NHSOKLA to build housing for families with limited incomes using federal funds, as well as provide down payment assistance to families with low-to-moderate incomes.

Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency

As a Certified Community Housing Development Organization (CCHDO), our organization is able to offer various programs such as affordable rental housing, new construction and down payment assistance to qualified clients through the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency.

City of Midwest City

Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma is a Certified Community Housing Development Organization (CCHDO) with the City of Midwest City. This designation allows NHSOKLA to provide homebuyer education, housing counseling and homebuyer assistance to first-time homebuyers with low-to-moderate incomes.
