You’re invited to join us for NeighborWorks Week! NeighborWorks Week is a national day of volunteerism and community building! On Saturday, June 8 we are hosting a service project at The Commons on Classen, a NHS Oklahoma affordable housing property for ages 62+.
Volunteers will be cleaning up the property and landscaping. Bring your smile, shovel or rake, and your green thumb! Mulch and flowers will be provided. All children who attend can paint a birdhouse. Food and refreshments will be provided. All volunteers will receive a T-Shirt.

More information about NeighborWorks Week:
Each June, NeighborWorks America and its network of local organizations mobilize tens of thousands of volunteers, businesspeople, neighbors, friends, and local and national elected and civic leaders in a week of neighborhood change and awareness.
Since its inception in 1983, NeighborWorks Week showcases how the NeighborWorks network strengthens communities and celebrates our collective impact as a network.
During NeighborWorks Week (June1-8), Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma and other NeighborWorks organizations across the country will bring together volunteers to transform communities through events like painting and landscaping properties and hosting homeownership and financial literacy classes.
